WHAT PASSPORT ARE YOU HOLDING?
...Travelling is an every day thing which has virtually become indispensable. All over the world people travel from one end to another for various missions. The global airspace for instance is daily filled with thousands of air-crafts across the continents with people travelling for purposes such as business, vacation, visiting relatives and friends and the rest. The importance of global travel has been given impetus by the growth in the modes of travelling such as sea, air, road, rails and the rest. So you realise that man has always been on the move travelling to one point or the other since the era of mankind.
So can I therefore conclude that life is full of journeys and almost all of mankind have one trip or the other. Yes we travel often even if by foot, donkey or horse. But there is a journey of all journeys which many have already taken and many more people will take it. It is the ultimate journey in life. Each one will take that journey sooner or later but no matter what it shall come to pass.
Beloved you hold in your hands an invisible ticket and a passport to travel. One day you will surely board that flight. Fortunately or unfortunately unlike most earthly journeys your visa and ticket is for one-way. There is no return and no turning back. There are only two destinations: Heaven or Hell. Which Passport are you holding? HEAVEN PASSPORT OR HELL PASSPORT?
Remember it is a one-way journey with no looking back. When that flight takes off sooner or later you will find yourself in either of the two destination. If you end up in Heaven praise and glory to Jesus but if your flight lands in Hell you will be damned forever. You will surely take that journey sooner or later; where are you heading? Will you be boarding Heaven's Express or Hell's Shuttle?
There is a broad path leading to destruction and many are on that path. Are you on that path? Well beloved before it is too late change your heart and let go and let Christ. Because when you take off it will be too late. Please take that decision for Jesus now. Delay not for a moment before it is too late. Receive Christ into your heart and be ye saved so that when your flight lands in Heaven you will be welcomed Home by Jesus Himself and show you to your mansion John 14:2,3.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am sinful and
I need Your forgiveness. I repent of
everything I have done wrong. Thank you
for paying the penalty of my sin when You

open my heart to You, and invite You to come
into my life, and make me into the person You want me to
be. Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Please fill
me with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name.

BETTER TO BELIEVE!
Better to believe now and discover that am wrong on the other side than not to believe and discover it is too late. The journey into eternity either in heaven or hell is just a split second away an any moment and and not something to be toyed with. Please be sure you are saved before it is too late. This Saturday I spoke with a brother and felt sad afterwards. He lost a lady friend two days earlier who was very healthy before the incident. They met the Wednesday and all seemed well unfortunately she only had hours to live. In less than 24hours she complained of her heart and that was it. She was gone and being a Muslim was buried immediately. That was the end of her...gone gone into a land where there is no return. She may discover but too late that Jesus is the Lord of Lord and the Great Judge. Please take your life with God seriously and be sure to give your life to Him before that day of reckoning. God loves you and gave His life to save you. Accept Jesus into your heart and He will save you now from dying twice. God bless you and keep you.

GOD CARES.
ITS HARVEST TIME; BUT WHERE ARE ALL THE HARVESTERS NEEDED FOR COMPLETION? COULD IT BE YOU?
AS THE SUN SETS EACH DAY IT SHOULD REMIND US THAT WE WILL TAKE A JOURNEY ONE DAY INTO THE FUTURE THAT WE WOULD NOT RETURN. WHEN THAT TIME COMES WHERE WILL YOU GO?
FLOWERS DO NOT REMAIN BEAUTIFUL ALWAYS. TIMES AND SEASONS; WHICH SEASON ARE YOU IN YOUR LIFE? DO YOU KNOW? PERHAPS WE HAVE OURS OR DAYS BUT IF YOU BLOOM TODAY REMEMBER TOMORROW AND LIVE RIGHT.
OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CREATOR! HIS LOVE AND CARE FOR YOU LED HIM TO CREATE NATURE WITH SUCH DETAIL AND CARE. NOTHING CAN TAKE YOU FROM HIS LOVE BUT YOURSELF.
IF HE CARES FOR THE MINUTEST OF CREATURES HOW MUCH MORE YOU WHO HE CREATED IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS?

OH HOW VAST THE SEA IS AND YET IT IS BUT A DROP OF WATER IN GOD'S HAND. HE IS AWESOME BEYOND COMPREHENSION BUT STILL CALLS OUT YOUR NAME.
SUCH MANNER OF LOVE HAS NO MAN THAN THIS THAT A MAN WILL LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS JOHN 15:13
JESUS IS THE VINE ON WHICH WE GROW. NO JESUS NO GROWTH. WE CEASE TO INCREASE AS SOON AS WE ARE CUT OFF FROM HIM.
HEAVEN WILL BE GREAT FOR THERE SHALL NOT BE LACK OF ANY SORT. THERE WILL BE NO MORE THIRST AND HUNGER. THERE IS NO GREATER DESTINATION THAN HEAVEN. LIVE YOUR LIFE OUT FOR THE KING SO THAT YOU CAN BE THERE ONE DAY.
THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH IS CHRIST. HE MAY BE A LAMB BUT ALSO A LION TOO. IF YOU LIVE OUT YOUR LIFE FOR HIM YOU WILL NEVER BECOME A PREY BUT AN OVERCOMER.
GOD LOVES YOU AND THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER IS FEAR GOD AND SERVE HIM. THAT IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. AMEN!

WHO IS YOUR BEST FRIEND?
...A story is told of a village somewhere at the centre of the earth. In that kingdom was a very rude and wicked king with a lot of subjects. Now it was a common knowledge that whosoever got invited to the king's palace did not return. As a result many dreaded passing around the the palace not to talk about an invitation into it.
This was a very wicked king indeed who ruled his people with such fiery and intimidating vigour. Many in their thousands had once gotten the invitation to see the king and never returned. The fate of anyone going through the gates of the palace was death and nothing else.
One day a very poor farmer returned from his farm and whiles relaxing to enjoy a bowl of his favourite meal prepared by his wife sees the palace messenger approaching his house with the usual invitation axe. Upon this sight this poor farmer knew that his hours were numbered and that his time was up to die. Truly the invitation was for him this time. And with such sorrow and heartache he sent his wife to summon his three best friends to bid them farewell before taking those dreadful steps and his final to the call of the king.
On arriving simultaneously at the farmer's house these three friends were indeed sad and could not control their emotions and busted into great outcry to mourn the soon to depart friend. In the process each of them made a promise to the farmer to demonstrate to him how much they really loved him. And one after the other they each spoke to show their solidarity.
The first friend told the farmer how much he loved him and would exhibit this by holding his hands and taking him through his (the farmer's) house gate. The second also promised the farmer taking him as far as to the gates of the palace and bidding him goodbye. Finally the last friend who was the most quietest of them all and the one who the farmer had trusted in the least also spoke. He told the farmer that he would take him through his gates and through the palace's gate into the presence of this awful and dreadful ruler.
The question I pose to you is, among these three friends who can be considered to be the best of all? Is it the first or second or the third.........? Well the verdict is below.
WHO IS YOUR BEST FRIEND?
The village in this scene is the world or the earth in which we are and the king is man's old time foe, Satan and the king of death. You are the farmer and the three friends are:
1) WORLDLY THINGS AND PLEASURES
These things include wealth, cars, houses or estates, pleasures of lust, money, businesses, sports and all the likes. In this world of ours we at one time or the other have encountered these things and have sought after them with such zeal and alacrity. These things in themselves are not bad but the over emphasis on them. Some of us make them our gods and worship them. We will do anything by hook or crook to get them. We will use negative means if possible to lay hands on them. Even lies.
We may even sideline our Sunday service to seek for them. We will use these things on ourselves and will not even bother to help that neighbour of ours who do not know where the next meal is coming from. In terms of preference they come up first. But how far can these things take us in life? Yes they may be good but why make them all your life to the detriment of God and your soul? "What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36,37.
Do you know when you will die and when it comes of what use are these to your eternity? What will you tell God whom you have sidelined for these things. Will the basis for your entry into heaven be based on how much stuff you accumulated on the earth? Where is your heart? Are they after God or things? Where is your treasure...in heaven or earth? At the end of the day when life is no more what value will they be? Should you face God right now will He find sincerely in you a heart that puts Him first?
At that hour when you are called over you will never go with any property of yours but something called a covering and a box. So what will happen to all the wealth accumulated without observing God's word?
2) FRIENDS
The next in line are friends whom we so much hold to and will consider their counsel over that of the word of God. Yes friends are a part of the world and we do need them as badly as we do the Bible but what kind of friend do we have? As the adage goes, show me your friend and I will show you your character. Friends can make or unmake us. Due to bad friends we can end up in eternal damnation. Friends can lead us into all sorts of sins and violations that are contrary to the word of God.
But even our best friend can only go so far with us as long as death is concerned. The farthest they can take us is to our grave and it ends right there and life will continue as normal hours later. At worse scenario you will observe a funeral party with lots of food and drink and people will be partying just after burial. Oh man what are we here for? Who will genuinely take us all the way. Will your mum or dad or siblings or best friend die for you? Can anybody take our place of death? Never it will never happen. We all seek our own and have left the needy and poor behind. Oh God have mercy.
A few years back during a burial service for a young man who had died, many of his colleagues sobbing seriously could not contain the sight of their friend. They began crying that they will go with the deceased into death but there was one who was much serious about it and quiet drunk. Now there was another mourner who having observed this guy for sometime decided to assist him, so as soon as the body was lowered into the grave he pushed this guy into the grave. Could you image the speed with which this guy jumped out of the deep? That speed could have easily overtake a concord aircraft and he ran off from the cemetery all together. What happened to his initial plans? Well that's man for you.
On the day of reckoning and judgement each of us will stand alone to give account. Our best friends cannot defend us. They will have to defend themselves. So please do not make man your hope and all. Bible says cursed is the man that put his hope and trust in man. Man will disappoint you but God will not. Let us have friends but let us not make them our gods. They are fallible also and can lead us astray. It is only God whose word and advice we should fully heed to. God is the best counsel even in death.
3) JESUS CHRIST
"Greater love hath no man than this that a man will lay down his life for his friends" John 15:13. Yes Jesus is the only friend and will truly suffer with us and take our place even at death. At the cross of Calvary over 2000years ago Jesus died for you and me. He took the place of all mankind by dying for us. He bore our sins , sicknesses, pain, sorrows, poverty and death as well. He did all these for us so that we wouldn't have to go through them again. He already paid the price we had to pay.
He took our place and gave us hope and a future with Him and the Father in Heaven. We do not have to die again after living the world. He died to give us life. He did not just died but most importantly Jesus rose again from the death and conquered death in victory. It means whosoever believes in Him will not die again after departing the earth. We will live happily with Him in Heaven after we live the earth. JESUS IS THE BEST FRIEND YOU WILL EVER HAVE.
He is faithful, caring, understanding, forgiving, loving, interested in your well-being, always near you, shares your concerns, knows you intimately and inside out, knows your thought and prayers even before you say them. What more can you look out for in a friend? He cares for you and will always be there for you. If you do not know Him yet, please accept Him as your Lord, Friend, Saviour and King. He will make the difference in your life. Never depart this earth without knowing Him. "He that believeth on the Son {Jesus} hath everlasting life and he that believeth not on the Son {Jesus} shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him" John 3:36
How will you escape God's wrath if you have refused to accept His provision He made for you through the sacrifice of His dear Son. There is no way of escape but only through Jesus. He is there with you...right there where you are. Call on His name and you shall be saved. "For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13. He is waiting to take away all your burdens. Cry out for mercy from Him and you shall see His salvation in your life today.
"...I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME" John 14:6.
To commit your life to Him pray the following prayer:
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

WHEN ITS ALL BEEN SAID AND DONE...?
When it's all been said and done
There is just one thing that matters
Did I do my best to live for truth?
Did I live my life for you?

As I compose this post I am listening to a song by Don Moen whose lyric's is above and indeed a challenge to my own life. This is virtually my favourite song because its always challenges me to do what I have been called to do. When I first listened to it some years ago I decided to be fully sold out to God. Though I have rather had mountains of sin and personal struggle to contend with mostly I still hold to the intends of this touching song. And I am holding on to it believing that one day I will leave out the full content of it. I will never give up.
But beloved what dooes these words mean to you personally? When its all been said and done, when life is no more, when that time comes and you lay in your casket and your heart has stop beating, when you are but a piece of body mass heading for the grave, what will you hold on to? Will you hold on to Christ or your wealth? Will you hold on to all the worldly acquisitions you have made or spiritual things you did which no one can see but God? My sister and brother are you building a foundation of gold or hay? Are you grabbing as much as you could grab in this life with detriment to your soul?
Life is good and God meant that we enjoy it but not to the detriment of our soul. Are you cheating to make it? Are you using all means even if dubiuos to acquire your wellbeing with no regards to the consequences of your action? Romans 14:12 says "For everyone of us shall give account of himself to God" Mark 8:36,37 says "For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul, or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? You are so preciuos to God so much that He did everything he could to save you from second death even if it took His own life. That is how far God will go for you. It shows the depth of His love for mankind and you especially. Will you accept His dear Son Jesus Christ whom He sent to die on the cross for you or will you reject Him and perish forever in hell?
Beloved it is my sincerest prayer that you will received Jesus as your Lord, Savoiur and King so that you will spend eternity with God and all the saints in Heaven. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all its rigtheuosness and all other things including what you have been wishing for will be added unto you. When its all been said and done; when your life is no more and when you stand before God what will be your account? Will it be good news or bad news?
Your treasures, wealth, marraige, automobiles, houses, businesses, popularity and fame and all that is precious to you will not amount to anything if you not have Christ. Its only the blood of the Lamb of God that will guarantee you an entry into Heaven. Are you washed by the blood of the Lamb? Please do not postpone your salvation for you know not of tomorrow. As I write this post we are burying a 25year old cousin tomorrow who was killed in a motor accident. Yesterday he was but today he is gone for good and his fate is determined. Perhaps he knew his death wouldn't come so soon but you cannot find him on any part of the globe today, He's gone ...and gone for good. Will he be in heaven or hell?
Fortunately your destiny is in your hand today. You have life and that represents hope. But you shall not be alive always. Make that decision now or maybe never! But know that you have a judgement to encounter. Please think on this reflectively and take that STEP OF YOUR LIFE.
If you want to give your life to Christ Jesus, please pray the prayer below:
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

As I compose this post I am listening to a song by Don Moen whose lyric's is above and indeed a challenge to my own life. This is virtually my favourite song because its always challenges me to do what I have been called to do. When I first listened to it some years ago I decided to be fully sold out to God. Though I have rather had mountains of sin and personal struggle to contend with mostly I still hold to the intends of this touching song. And I am holding on to it believing that one day I will leave out the full content of it. I will never give up.
But beloved what dooes these words mean to you personally? When its all been said and done, when life is no more, when that time comes and you lay in your casket and your heart has stop beating, when you are but a piece of body mass heading for the grave, what will you hold on to? Will you hold on to Christ or your wealth? Will you hold on to all the worldly acquisitions you have made or spiritual things you did which no one can see but God? My sister and brother are you building a foundation of gold or hay? Are you grabbing as much as you could grab in this life with detriment to your soul?
Life is good and God meant that we enjoy it but not to the detriment of our soul. Are you cheating to make it? Are you using all means even if dubiuos to acquire your wellbeing with no regards to the consequences of your action? Romans 14:12 says "For everyone of us shall give account of himself to God" Mark 8:36,37 says "For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul, or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? You are so preciuos to God so much that He did everything he could to save you from second death even if it took His own life. That is how far God will go for you. It shows the depth of His love for mankind and you especially. Will you accept His dear Son Jesus Christ whom He sent to die on the cross for you or will you reject Him and perish forever in hell?
Beloved it is my sincerest prayer that you will received Jesus as your Lord, Savoiur and King so that you will spend eternity with God and all the saints in Heaven. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all its rigtheuosness and all other things including what you have been wishing for will be added unto you. When its all been said and done; when your life is no more and when you stand before God what will be your account? Will it be good news or bad news?

Get baptized as commanded by Christ. - Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
- Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
- Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
- Find a local church where you can worship God.

IT’S TOO RISKY!!!
It was such a lovely day and all was calm and promising. Locals and foreigners alike were in high spirit and what a day of celebration it promises to be! Being the last Sunday of the year and a holiday in the midst of the Christmas season peoples’ expectations were high and that of total merry and celebration. Celebration would come in different forms from parties to beaching.
Many had already drawn up their New Year’s resolution and great plans for the coming prosperous year. I can imagine those who had programmes towards business growth and expansion. Others looked forward to going higher in life. Marriages were on the minds of many, education, wealth, travelling, fame and all other things you can think about but death.
But in moment of time, in a split second unexpectedly came the man’s greatest fear – DEATH! In the moment when all seemed normal suddenly came the rage and fury of the sea sweeping anything on its path and killing over 250,000 people. On that day death and hell opened their mouth so wide and swallowed all these people into eternity whether ready or not. Their departure came unannounced but it did come.
The Indian Ocean Tsunami of 26 December 2004 is known to be one of the greatest natural disasters in mankind’s history. What about the about the over 200,000 people who are estimated to be dead in the recent earth in Haiti?
Well in both cases not only were properties worth billions of dollars lost but most importantly lives were lost. In that moment many lost their livelihood and became paupers. In a twinkle of an eye people’s investments were nothing but rubbles and gone for good. But my emphasis is not even on the things that were lost but on all those souls that bid farewell to this life and entered straight away into Eternity. WHERE ARE THEY..? IS IT HEAVEN OR HELL..?
Well they know their fate by now and nothing can change that. But what about you? Once you die you don’t have the opportunity again to change your destination in eternity. Beloved it’s too risky to live on earth without Christ Jesus. Whether you like it or not you have an appointment with death sooner or later but when it comes will you be ready or not? Will you enter into eternity prepared or not? When Christ Jesus returns to the earth today will you have an invitation to heaven?
Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement”
Romans 14:12 says “So then every one of shall give account of himself to God”
What accounts are you going to give to God should your time come? On what basis should you be allowed into heaven to spend eternity with God? Is it going to be your business or work or houses or marriage or wealth or cars or what is it? I can tell you on authority that if your hope is in the things of this world then you have got your priorities wrong. When it’s all been said and done and life is no more all the treasures of this world will not matter but what you did for God whiles you had life.
No flesh will stand before God justified by works of self-righteousness but only by the blood of Jesus are we saved. No amount of good works can save us but by believing in Christ Jesus and the work that He did for us on the cross. Everyone is born a sinner heading for hell until one makes a turnabout to receive Jesus as Saviour. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23. “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23.
Beloved God has provided you the perfect path for escape from Hell to Heaven through his dear Son Jesus Christ. Bible says that it pleased God bruised His Son for you and me so that we can receive life everlasting. Please don’t die and go to hell. Accept the grace of God through Jesus. Please choose life today and forgo death.
The choice is yours to make either for Heaven or Hell. Please do not put aside this leaflet until you have made that all important decision to serve Jesus. Your life depends on it. It is the greatest decision you will ever make.
Please do this before it is too late. Hell is not a place to joke with at all. As you are reading this leaflet there are billions of people screaming at the top of their voice there. Many of them may be people you knew. Some are prominent people. They wished that they had another chance to come back to earth to do the right thing but it is too late now. They have already blown their chances and there is no second chance for them. But you do have the opportunity today not to become like them. Since you have breath and can move about make that decision for Christ before it is too late.
Precious one do not gamble with your life for God loves you so dearly and paid the price for you by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Only believe and accept it and you will be happy you did. It’s too risky to live without Jesus Christ in your life. If you want to accept Jesus as your saviour please pray the following prayer of faith and believe in your heart.
Dear Lord Jesus, I accept that I am a sinner and you alone can save me and set me free from sin. Please wash me with your blood and come into my heart. Be my Lord, Master and personal Saviour and write my name in the Book of Life, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer, you have moved from death to life but you need to live every day for Jesus. Find a good Church to attend, read the Bible daily, pray and be a doer of the Word. Thank you.
